About the Atelier

Beauty inspired by island life, created with care.

An atelier is a place where ideas are explored, skills are refined, and every creation is given the time it deserves.

Pearl Naturelle started on Gili Air Island, Indonesia.

It’s a small island, and life here is very simple. Days are shaped by the weather, the sea, and the pace of the people around you. Things move slower without anyone really trying to make them slow. You just adjust to it.

Living here changes how you see everyday routines. You notice how the sun affects your skin, how salt air dries your hair, how quickly things shift with humidity. It becomes part of normal life, not something you only think about once in a while.

PRODUCT POTRAIT (3).png

Products here aren’t created for a perfect climate or a perfect routine. They’re made with real conditions in mind, sun, heat, sea, humidity, and everything that comes with living close to the ocean.

That really affects how each product is designed. For example, textures matter a lot. Some need to feel light enough not to sit heavy on the skin in humid weather, while others need to give enough comfort and protection when skin feels dry after sun exposure.

The same goes for ingredients. A lot of the focus is on things that support the skin barrier, help with hydration, and bring back balance after time in the sun or sea. Botanical extracts are chosen for their calming and soothing properties, especially for skin that gets easily stressed by the climate.

At the same time, active ingredients are used where they make sense, not too much, not too little, just enough to support what the skin is already doing naturally.

Producing beauty products from a small island has shaped everything here, the pace, the process, and the way each product comes together.

Over time, it became clear that what matters isn’t only where the products are made, but how they are made. Slowly, carefully, and with attention to real everyday needs.

It honestly means a lot to be able to share these products beyond the island . The hope has always been simple, that someone, somewhere else, might also enjoy using something made this way, with care and time behind it.
