From Insight
to Selection
How we chose each formula and ingredient
We wanted the formulas to do more than feel nice and they had to really work for guests during their stay. That’s why we selected ingredients such niacinamide to help skin recover, marine collagen to keep it plump and hydrated, keratin to keep hair smooth, and mineral filters like zinc and iron oxides for daily sun protection. Each ingredient was picked with one goal in mind: giving guests care that feels simple, effective, and right for island life.
We chose each botanical for its function in recovery care. Chamomile extract helps calm sun-stressed skin, calendula extract encourages natural repair, cucumber extract restores hydration with a cooling effect, and rose infused oil brings softness and long-lasting nourishment. Each extract was selected to complement the actives and meet the real needs of guests after hours in the island sun.

Challenge
Island guests spend long hours under the sun and sea, leaving their skin and hair in need of immediate recovery. While most resort amenities offer skincare solutions, they often miss the mark, either providing generic that is ineffective to maintain island beauty or formulas that are far-suited for the tropical climate.
Meno House needed a tailored, high-performance after-sun care line that would deliver real results — something lightweight, refreshing, and designed to enhance the guest experience without compromising on effectiveness.
Solution
Island life is beautiful but demanding — constant sun, salty seas, and humid air can quickly dry, irritate, and weaken skin and hair. Guests need products that restore balance without feeling heavy. With this in mind, we shaped the collection around three essentials: recovery, hydration, and protection.

Night Body Butter & Sugar Scrub: tackle salt and dryness with gentle exfoliation and deep overnight nourishment, so skin wakes up smooth and replenished.

Body Oil: gives lightweight hydration that absorbs quickly, avoiding stickiness in humid climates while leaving skin soft and supple.

Face Cream: rebuilds elasticity and restores moisture lost to UV, helping skin feel calm, plump, and comfortable after sun exposure.

Tinted Mineral Sunscreens: protect against ongoing UV damage with zinc oxide, while offering a natural finish in two shades that suit resort life.

Hair Milky Oil: restores softness and shine to hair stressed by saltwater, keeping it tangle-free and manageable throughout a guest’s stay.
Each product was intentionally formulated not just for skincare, but for the experience of care — light, refreshing textures that are easy to use daily, while still delivering visible results.
Outcome
The collection reflects a careful design process, where each ingredient and formula was chosen to meet the specific challenges of island life while aligning with Meno House’s guest experience standards. The primary goal was to transform after-sun care into a signature ritual that reinforces the resort’s commitment to comfort, wellbeing, and thoughtful hospitality — creating lasting impressions that go beyond standard amenities.
